Attending Labelexpo Europe 2025 in Barcelona was a milestone both for me personally and for OPM (Labels and Packaging) Group. Having spent many years at Labelexpo in Brussels, experiencing the show in Barcelona for the first time brought a fresh perspective and renewed energy to the event.
This year, I had the privilege of being chosen by the Labelexpo Team as an Ambassador for Flexible Packaging. It was an honour to take part in keynote speaking, online activities, and editorials for Labels & Labeling, sharing insights and experiences from our journey at OPM. Being able to contribute to the industry’s conversation, helping others navigate the transition from labels to flexible packaging, was a rewarding experience.
As an Ambassador, I enjoyed engaging with peers, exchanging ideas, and discussing the latest trends and challenges facing our sector. The opportunity to connect with so many talented professionals, both on stage and throughout the show, was inspiring. The energy and innovation on display in Barcelona reaffirmed my belief in the strength and future of our industry.
The show was also a fantastic opportunity to see OPM recognised as The Converter of the Year at the inaugural Labels & Labeling Global Awards. This recognition, alongside our recent investments in new technology, marks an exciting chapter for our family business.
Returning to Yorkshire, I feel proud of what we’ve achieved and grateful for the chance to represent our team and the wider industry as an Ambassador.
Labelexpo Europe 2025 was a celebration of progress, partnership, and possibility. I look forward to continuing to share knowledge and drive innovation in flexible packaging.
