On 6th February 2022, Her Majesty The Queen became the first British Monarch to celebrate a Platinum Jubilee. This monumental occasion marks 70 years of service to the people of the United Kingdom, the Realms and the Commonwealth. To celebrate Her Majesty’s service to this country, a four day Bank Holiday weekend will take place between 2nd – 5th June.
With various events taking place all over the country, including the lighting of the Plantium Jubilee beacons, a service of thanksgiving held at St Paul’s Cathedral in London and the Big Jubilee Lunch held on our streets, there is a wonderful outpouring of community spirit.
In support of Her Majesty The Queen, here at OPM we wanted to highlight three ways we also try to embody that superior dedication to service.

In that time, Her Majesty has visited more than 100 countries, carried out more than 21,000 engagements and has held over 50 ranks and appointments in the British and Commonwealth Armed Services during her lifetime1.
The Queen has served this country for 70 years and her dedication to Britain is remarkable. At OPM, we are proud to serve the UK too.
