The ideal candidate will have operated an AGB Digicon previously with additional lamination, foiling and complex print units, and (however other Slitting, Rewinding and Finishing equipment will be considered).

You will be a positive, proactive, communicator and inquisitive, with digital print experience .Ideally with a genuine interest/affinity with self-adhesive labels and Packaging, you will possess the energy & drive to seek & deliver service with attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
- Operating of finishing equipment producing finished print in compliance with company operating procedures •
- Ensure machinery runs at a maximum output, adhering to quality and health & safety standards.
- Proactively manage equipment to achieve maximum quality levels ensuring that all paperwork is completed and up to date to ensure full traceability
- Ensure maximum material utilisation and a reduction of wastage of all materials
- Co-operation with all company systems and department teams in line with health and safety, IS09001, BRC accreditations and all paperwork systems
Job duties and responsibilities will include:
- Develop knowledge of materials available
- Use initiative and resourcefulness to develop new methods, or propose new solutions
- Maintain operating procedures with attention to detail
Job Requirements
- Minimum 5-7 years in the printing/packaging industry.
- Ideally technical knowledge of digital label printing, materials and tooling (but training can be given)
- Ability to work well under tight deadlines for projects of various size and scope.
- Positive “can do” customer focus and attitude.
