Great to see our sales team making the most of Vitafoods Europe in Barcelona last week, an excellent opportunity to strengthen relationships with existing clients while also connecting with new customers and suppliers. Events like this are key to supporting our customers’ packaging journeys, sharing ideas, and bringing fresh insights back into OPM.

I LOVE this show…

Back from a brilliant few days at Vitafoods Europe in Barcelona, what an event.

It was a busy week of meetings, conversations, and exploring what’s in the pipeline for the nutraceutical and supplement space.

A few key things that stood out:
🔹 Rapid innovation in product formats, more sachets, stick packs, and flexible solutions
🔹 Sustainability continues to drive decision-making across brands and retailers
🔹 Increased focus on speed to market and supply chain reliability

From a packaging perspective, it’s clear that brands are looking for partners who can deliver flexibility, consistency, and technical expertise, not just production.

These events are invaluable, not just for networking, but for getting a real sense of where the industry is heading and how we can stay ahead of it.

So good to catch up with existing contacts and make a few new ones along the way.

Now, I’m over ‘Vitafoods level tired’ so it’s about turning those conversations into opportunities.

Its great to be back from an incredibly energising week at Vitafoods Europe in Barcelona

It’s always valuable to step out of the day-to-day and reconnect with what’s happening across the wider nutraceutical and health packaging sector—and this year certainly didn’t disappoint. It was great to network with both exisiting customers and new propspects.

The seminar given by WIN (Women In Nutraceutical) ‘A Letter to my Younger self’ was exceptional and very informative

A few standout takeaways for me:
✅ Continued growth in functional and personalised nutrition
✅ Increasing focus on sustainability—not just materials, but full lifecycle impact
✅ Strong demand for premium packaging formats that help brands stand out on shelf

What really stood out was how packaging is now playing a much bigger role in brand differentiation and consumer trust, particularly within health-focused products.

The conversations we had reinforced just how important it is to offer solutions that combine quality, compliance, and shelf appeal, especially as product formats continue to evolve.

Events like this are a great reminder of why staying close to the market matters. It’s not just about trends, it’s about understanding where our customers are heading next and how we can support them.
Already looking forward to the next one.
