OPM Group have joined forces with OGL Construction to raise funds for Myeloma UK, a charity that is dedicated to making a difference in the lives of individuals.

As Charlotte, Tom & the rest of the team continue their epic expedition across Italy, raising funds for Myeloma UK we look at their journey and what they have accomplished in their first two days.

Day 1 saw the team gather at the world-famous leaning tower of Pisa and begin the first stage of their adventure towards Siena covering 72.70 miles (117km). Charlotte and Tom reached average speeds of 12.42mph (20km/hr). Charlotte’s love of the uphill climbs differed from Tom’s loathing of it, but the pair managed to conquer all.

The highlights of their day were taking in the picturesque scenery, and the enormous sense of achievement that they felt after completing day 1.

“We had a fabulous first day, it was so well organised, everyone was super supportive and it was good fun!! We can’t wait for day 2! 🙌🏼”
