What better time to spread a little love?
As hearts fluttered on Valentine’s Day, we held a Share the Love Raffle. The goal, fittingly, is to raise funds for an organisation that works with hearts every day – the British Heart Foundation.
We asked our staff to purchase tickets at £1 each with all the proceeds being donated to the British Heart Foundation
The Foundation has been pioneering heart research for over 60 years and one of the ways it raises funds is through companies hosting their own fund-raising events.
The Share the Love raffle draw took place the day after Valentines because we wanted all our employees to participate, and the winning employee, Glenn (pictured with our MD Chris Ellison) will get to enjoy a romantic dinner for two at the Brasserie Blanc restaurant in Leeds.
The funds raised will be used to enable the British Heart Foundation to continue working towards finding cures and treatments for saving lives and we encourage other companies to embark on similar fundraising activities because together we can all contribute to making a difference in the lives of others.
