Congratulations our team, who were awarded AA+, the highest possible grade, in a recent unannounced audit undertaken by the British Retail Consortium Global Standard (BRCGS).
Our compliance and QA team were given a 92-day window within which an auditor from the BRCGS would randomly arrive on site to check our facilities, procedures, and offerings.
Our 2-day visit took place on Tuesday 2nd October at 8.30am, with the auditors needing to be on our shop floor within a 30-minute time frame. As soon as the auditors arrived on site, they were made to feel welcome, and given guidance about appropriate PPE for their shop floor visit. They were escorted around by our team leaders and senior management, before sitting down to talk in-depth about our procedures, compliance, and facilities.
