The team at OPM Group have given the green light to its new mid-web BOBST Master M6 press, after successfully completing the Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) at BOBST’s manufacturing facility.
During the FAT, the team assessed the press against a series of performance, quality and safety criteria before giving final approval for shipment and installation.
Managing Director Christopher J Ellison and Value Stream Director Paul Smith, took an expert team from OPM and Sun Chemicals to Florence, Italy, to inspect, test, and approve the new press ahead of its shipment to Leeds.
The new BOBST Master M6 will print wider, run faster and deliver greater efficiency, helping OPM continue to innovate and grow within the flexible packaging market. While providing customers with greater flexibility, shorter lead times, enhanced print quality and a faster route to market.
With approval complete, the focus now turns to installation and commissioning at our Leeds site.
Together with OPM’s new Karlville Swiss flat-bottom pouch machine, the investment will expand OPM’s flexible packaging capabilities.
