Following a rapid installation and onboarding process and a successful first year of operation, our Managing Director Chris Ellison has spoken about our investment in an ABG digital finishing solution.
As part of a wider investment in further improving the quality and lead times of our packaging and label offer, the ABG Digicon Series 3 contains several semi-rotary features that reduce the overall setup time. It enables us to rapidly produce hot and cold foiled or embossed labels, additional colours and varnishes including relief varnishes, die-cut labels, and more. All of this means we can offer now offer a much wider range of options to our customers, allowing for near-infinite design possibilities.
With an intuitive digital interface, this new system links seamlessly to our digital press, reducing overall prep time and increasing throughput. The Digicon Series 3 is perfectly designed for finishing digital print, complementing the rest of our site which specialises in UV printing.

It reduces the amount of any material wasted, which reduces both the cost and the environmental impact of each run.
