Students attending the Onsite Diploma in Packaging Technology course completed their final session this week in Leeds, with visits to Britvic where they saw soft drinks being packed into both glass and plastic bottles and the final day was hosted at OPM Group’s Colour Box factory. This was the second year OPM have hosted the course and students were able to gain an insight into a fully integrated printing company who produce labels, film and pouches for a wide variety of customers.
It was a fantastic end to another IOM3 Training Academy course with 13 great students from various industry backgrounds all keen to understand packaging and be drivers for the future in this industry.
OPM and all the other host companies have been extremely helpful and we would like to thank them all for their time and participation to ensure we keep educating those involved in packaging.
