Spread a little Christmas Cheer
DMRC Benevolent Fund is a charity working with serving military personnel in rehabilitation at DMRC Stanford Hall.
The Defence Military Rehabilitation Centre (‘DMRC’) is a tri-service organisation delivering care to the UK’s most wounded, injured and sick serving military personnel. In addition, it supports the staff who deliver bespoke and world leading rehabilitation, maximising the rehabilitation potential and outcomes of those they work for and with.
As the challenges of 2020 have continued during 2021, DMRC has sustained its efforts to support those who need its help.
As Christmas approaches, there’s probably no better time to offer a boost to those who remain in the rehabilitation setting. The process of rehabilitation is long and arduous. It is relentless with slow gains making motivation hard to come by. The additional challenges of being away from families and loved ones either through care needs and ever evolving, but necessary COVID restrictions, makes the process of recovery harder still.
Jo at PHD made us aware of an initiative co-ordinated by Wrexham-based Design by PHD, along with sister company Marketing by PHD, who support the assembly and delivery of 100 gift boxes to injured armed forces patients at DMRC Stanford Hall each Christmas. Well done to Jo and the team at PHD !
OPM Labels and Packaging Group was happy to support Operation Rudolph in 2021 with an addition to the hampers.
A great idea and one that will hopefully go from strength to strength as more people become aware of it. Contributing something small to the hampers can make such a difference to the UK’s most wounded, injured and sick serving military personnel.
Operation Rudolph runs annually,

As a volunteer-run charity, aiding the rehabilitation of injured military patients through opportunities that are not provided through public funding, we are reliant on the support of the public, fellow charities and volunteers.
