At OPM Group, we are proud to be sponsoring the Farrier Competition at the Great Yorkshire Show. One of the UK’s most prestigious showcases of farriery skill, craftsmanship and equine welfare.
Held annually at the Great Yorkshire Showground in Harrogate. The competition brings together some of the country’s finest farriers, apprentices and blacksmiths to demonstrate the expertise, precision and dedication required to keep horses sound, healthy and performing at their best.
Competitors are judged on a range of classes that test traditional forging skills, horseshoeing techniques and craftsmanship under pressure.
Temperatures set to soar during this year’s show. OPM are delighted to be supporting the wellbeing of competitors by providing 800 bottles of water. Helping to keep the farriers hydrated across the three-day event.
