OPM Group are joining forces with OGL Construction to raise funds for Myeloma UK, a charity that is dedicated to making a difference in the lives of individuals.
Who, What & Where?
Our representative, Charlotte Ellison, will be embarking on a remarkable journey, cycling 300 challenging miles from the beautiful city of Pisa, through the picturesque hills of Tuscany, all the way to the city of Rome.
There will be 40 cyclists taking part in this journey, all of whom must pay for all their own costs/trips, so 100% of your donation goes directly to the work of Myeloma UK
This extraordinary endeavour is not just a physical test but a mission of hope, compassion, and support for those who need it most.
The joint OGL & OPM team will be starting their 4-day adventure on Tuesday 20th September.
Why?
Bob Munro, a family friend of Charlotte and her partner Tom, received the devastating diagnosis of Myeloma, an incurable blood cancer, in 2012. Despite the grim prognosis, Bob’s indomitable spirit endures, thanks in no small part to the remarkable advancements in medical treatment made possible by Myeloma UK and other organisations.
In 2016, Tom was honoured to be part of Bob’s team, consisting of 45 family and friends, for the first event, cycling from London to Paris. This event, founded by Bob himself, has since raised over £1.5 million for Myeloma UK, showcasing the incredible impact that a united effort can achieve.
Now, we find ourselves preparing for another cycling challenge, and we invite you to join us in making a difference.
